The 8th episode of the monthly updates is in front of you, Qommunity. Below is a list of the most important August events at Qoda.
Audit completion
The audit of Qonstants’s smart contracts has been completed by Halborn Security. We will publish a full report later in September. As of now, we can say that all discovered issues were fixed during the audit process.
Launch on Arbitrum
We have been working on the launch of Qonstant on Arbitrum One network for the past couple of months. This is the third network that Qonstant supports and a big step towards transforming Qonstant into a multichain product.
Why did we choose to deploy on Arbitrum? It is a mature L2 with fast and cheap transactions and is embraced by a great community. Its large, DeFi-centric ecosystem and user base can benefit from Qoda’s novel approach to on-chain loan markets.
Qonstant supports USDT, USDC, and USDC.e markets on Arbitrum, allowing users to leverage their portfolios. Over time, we will expand the list of markets to keep more assets from the ecosystem.
ARB, GMX, WBTC, WETH, LINK, DAI, USDC, and USDT are available for depositing collateral.

Product development
We prepared to deploy Qonstant's smart contracts on Arbitrum, continually develop the protocol, and plan to grow Qoda’s product offering beyond fixed-rate loan markets. Stay tuned!
Also, we are working on the legal side of things with lawyers to formalize Qoda’s future DAO structure.
As said above, some fixes were implemented based on the findings by Halborn Security.
We continued to work on indexing the data, started sourcing total volumes, and redeemed loans from our server.
Regarding FE, we worked on improvements to the portfolio pages, fixed the network layout on the main website, and updated its content.
We continue to work on some secret tasks we’ll announce very soon :)
Educational materials
We launched a series of educational publications about crypto loans, explained the ideas and innovations of the orderbook-style (marketplace) model, and discussed the possibility of leveraging a crypto portfolio using borrowed assets for traders.
These articles are intended to help DeFi newcomers or those thinking about crypto loans for the first time navigate this complex industry. Over time, we will expand the list of topics. Let us know in the comments if you want to learn something specific.
Qommunity events
To celebrate the protocol launch on Arbitrum One network, we held a series of events for our community. But that’s not all. We are planning some activities for the protocol users in the fall, so join our X and Discord to stay informed and not miss them.
We appreciate your support and see you soon.
