Qoda DAO Updates

We’re currently doing internal reviews and testing of the Qoda DAO V2 contracts. Once the internal reviews are complete, we’ll reach out to a third party (e.g., Halborn) to perform a thorough security audit of the changes. After this security audit, we’ll deploy the new contracts.

After the new V2 contracts are deployed, we’ll create the initial staking reward distribution for stakers (~2.25% of the token supply over two years). This was originally scheduled for ~90 days after TGE, however this may be delayed depending on the audit duration.

We’ll release a formal announcement of Qoda DAO V2 later that will detail all of the new features. However, one interesting feature includes the ability to switch staking methods without losing your veQODA (e.g. switch to/from staked vanilla QODA from/to staked QODA LP tokens). This feature allows you to manage your QODA position without unstaking.

We’ve finished designing how governance will work in the Qoda DAO. Our plan is to support the Tally governance portal. Given the unique functionality of veQODA, this means that we need to implement some custom voting contracts. We intend to launch governance by the end of this year.

We also refunded all users who have paid taxes for adding liquidity to QODA Uniswap V2 pools so far. This is a manual process (to avoid spending collected tax in error), so please let us know if your refund has not come through via a ticket on our Discord.
