Launch on Moonriver

Moonriver is a Canary Network to Moonbeam, used for experimental protocol features but using real tokens with real value. New code ships to Moonriver first, where it can be tested and verified under real economic conditions. Once proven, the same code ships to Moonbeam on Polkadot.

This is a fully working product on Moonriver mainnet working with a real economy.

This is an important milestone for us. We thank everyone who helped and participated and appreciate your contribution.

QODEX Token

Since Moonriver and Moonbeam are two different networks, the protocol will have 2 native tokens. On Moonriver Network, the native token is QODEX. On Moonbeam, the native token is QODA. They have the same utility, but different supply, vesting, and initial distribution.

QODEX was listed on the leading Moonriver DEX called Solarbeam.

Rewards Distribution

We conducted many activities in the months before the launch. All the winners of all these activities received their rewards. The rewards are vested over 90 days; the unlocked tokens can be sold or staked for additional rewards.

Rewards for using the protocol

This is a separate category of rewards for early Qoda adopters. Trading rewards were launched simultaneously with the launch on Moonriver. Users receive trading rewards every time they lend or borrow on the protocol.

Staking rewards were enabled simultaneously with the distribution of rewards. The users can stake their QODEX tokens and start earning veQODEX, which gives them the right to claim rewards.
